KLYRO
Hospitality SaaS · Case Study

Five systems in. One platform out.

How LabMedia designed, built and launched KLYRO — the platform that replaces phone calls, WhatsApp threads and PDF price lists with one place for restaurants and suppliers to order, confirm and track.

The challenge

Restaurant ordering was still run on memory.

Kitchens order from produce, meat, dairy and beverage suppliers every week — through calls, chats and PDFs. Nothing is searchable, prices change silently, confirmations get lost and food cost only becomes clear once the invoices land. Suppliers sit on the other side of the same mess, retyping orders by hand.

The solution

One platform built for both sides of the plate.

We built KLYRO as a two-sided platform. Restaurants browse vetted suppliers, compare live pricing and place one order across many suppliers. Suppliers manage their catalogue, receive digital purchase orders and confirm deliveries — with tracking, history and spend analytics shared by both.

What KLYRO replaced

The old way cost hours every single week.

Before mapping features, we mapped the friction. Each of these became a requirement the platform had to remove.

Phone calls

Missed rings and forgotten items nobody can trace back.

WhatsApp orders

Requests disappearing inside busy group chats.

PDF price lists

Pricing nobody can search, compare or trust.

Email chains

Ten replies and still no clear confirmation.

Paper notes

Orders written mid-service and lost by closing.

Lost hours

Admin time that never turns into revenue.

The platform

Everything purchasing needs, in one workspace.

01

One ordering hub

Restaurants order from multiple suppliers in a single cart and a single checkout.

02

Live catalogue & stock

Suppliers upload products and update pricing, so kitchens see availability before they order.

03

Smart reordering

Repeat last week's order in seconds instead of rebuilding it from memory.

04

Order tracking

Every order carries a status and a delivery window, from confirmation to arrival.

05

Supplier inbox

Suppliers receive structured digital purchase orders instead of scattered messages.

06

Spend analytics

Purchasing by supplier, category and month — visible without a spreadsheet.

How we built it

From a clear promise to a live launch.

  1. 01

    Positioning & offer

We framed KLYRO around one sharp promise: stop running your restaurant on five different systems.

  2. 02

    Two-sided product design

Separate journeys for restaurants and suppliers, sharing one ordering engine.

  3. 03

    Platform build

Catalogues, carts, purchase orders, confirmations, delivery tracking and analytics.

  4. 04

    Conversion website

A fast marketing site with a clear demo path and qualified application form.

  5. 05

    Beta launch engine

A limited 25-restaurant beta with spot scarcity, onboarding flow and follow-up automation.

Business impact

A product and a growth engine, launched together.

A launch-ready product

KLYRO went from concept to a live platform with real restaurant and supplier workflows, not a prototype.

Qualified applications, not clicks

The application form captures ordering method, weekly volume and locations, so every lead arrives pre-qualified.

Scarcity that converts

A capped free beta with visible remaining spots turns interest into immediate sign-ups.

A scalable two-sided base

Every new supplier makes the platform more valuable to restaurants, and the reverse — growth compounds.
